What was our design brief?
Our clients from Middle Dural were aspiring to create a renovation that transformed their 1970’s redbrick home into a grand and luxurious entertainers delight. The original dwelling was run down, outdated, and ultimately did not suit the high end, up market neighbourhood. After gaining this understanding, it was our mission to create a home that was aware of the original property but included clever designs to breathe life into this 70’s bungalow.
The client wished to create a minimal, clean, and contemporary style interior. This would combine elements of the initial home, and modern components to result in an elegant and luxurious space. Their healthy budget meant that they wanted to fill the home with high end, eye catching finishes, just as beautiful as the design itself.
What did we include in the home design?
We worked closely with these lovely clients to create a luxurious and elegantly renovated home. The comfortably sized rural site provided a glorious setting for our completed design. We included a new kitchen, living and dining, perfect for entertaining or day-to-day life. This area was complete with a generous butler’s pantry and alfresco. The design also featured an additional 3 car garage and large home gym.
As per the clients wishes, we included many features that would incorporate their love of entertaining. We refurbished the existing pool, added an indoor jacuzzi and an inground fire pit. We brought new life into the space by ensuring that the internal home had expansive views of the surrounding property. As it sits proudly on 1.8 acres, we wanted to ensure that there were great views of the sweeping land.
The design incorporated higher ceilings and a lavish split-level design for a grand feel. These intricate features enabled our client to perfect the gorgeous styling she wanted to undertake. Upon completion, it was evident that this home encapsulated the impressive and luxurious feel of the surrounding neighbourhood, overall encapsulating our clients wishes of breathing life into a tried bungalow and restoring it to an elegant dwelling.
